The Cardinal Belluga Theatre Group did it again The 3 Kings came to the Staff & Children of Emmaus children’s care home in Elche on Tuesday 5th January bearing the gift of an industrial washing machine, fulfilling the promise made by Maria the chairperson in November. The money was raised by the members holding carol concerts 3 in La marina & 1 in Benimar.
A special thank you to Carol who collected donations in the Temptations Bar and Pat & Richard who kindly held a quiz at their home. The amount of € 850.00 raised was enough for the deposit & delivery to get the machine installed.
A charity Cabaret Concert is organised for the 17th March at the La Marina Sports Complex to help raise the balance for the machine. Tickets will cost € 5.00.
The theatre group start rehearsals for their next show on Monday 11th January to be held at the Cardinal Belluga Theatre San Fulgencio in May. If you would like to join us you will be made very welcome, so far we have raised € 4.500 for S.E.M the local ambulance service.
